Pulling on leash is a common problem for most dog owners. Take a moment to put yourself in the dogs positon. Picture someone pulling on your shirt sleeve. Your automatic reaction is to pull away. This is called oppostion reflex and is a natural reaction. Our loose leash training teaches you and your dog how to counter this natural behavior and reinforce a loose leash - calm walk.
Dogs communicate through body language. Quite often a dog refusing to come when called is the result of the owners verbal command not matching the physical command. Our trainers will help establish clear lines of communcation to ensure your body language matches your verbal commands to create a reliable recall.
Yes. Our trainers have worked with hundreds of aggression cases over the years. Careers built on training Police K9 teams as well as pet owners with aggresive dogs makes our trainers uniquely skilled to address aggressive behavior. This ying and yang allows us to properly identify the cause of the aggression and level of severity in order to establish the correct training protocol.
We use a wide variety of motivators to encourage and reward desired behaviors. We treat each dog and owner on an individual basis. Some dogs will do back flips for kibble while others want nothing more than to be pet. We establish clear lines of communication through positive reinforcement for the desired behavior we wish to see repeated in the future.
No. We do not condone striking, hitting or any other actions that cause phyisical/psycological harm to a dog. Our training programs establish clear lines of communcation to ensure a dog understands "No" means stop that behavior - now try something else in order get rewarded. This creates an engaging dog that understands boundaries and how their actions relate to the world around them.
